second thought : mix of drawings and photos is fine. the drawings showed to advantage, because they are accompanied by explanatory writing, giving them a humorous cartoon quality. shoe laces can be used (misused?) to attach shoes to anything (e.g., to one's head). or to act like a leash (for a "pet shoe"). etc. lots of humor potential. "maybe with sand" is nice : the shoe as hour glass? the shoe hung from door, sole facing out : that sole is actually beautiful. a mix of design (the geometry of the shoe, the lines) and wear. something of an abstract expressionist quality to it.
imagining a book (or short film) : 36 ways to attach a shoe to a body. or : to attach a body to a shoe. (similar to the way people carry surgical (covid) masks attached to their elbows... could do with a shoe!).
