remembering there's a passage about the typewriter as a tool of poetry (precise "scoring" of poetic expression, breathing, pauses etc) in Kyle Schlesinger his dissertation “Letterpress Printing in the Postmodern Era: Poetry, Media and Typography” (light blue, thick, somewhere center/upper at http://studio.montserrat.edu/gd/library/index.htm#05 though I don't see it in this old photo)
