think more in terms of series, rather than "one-offs" or the best of several "one-offs." this becomes apparent to me (1) here, where none of these three is qualititatively better the others, yet they work interestingly together, and (2) in the earlier "wireless trackball mouse" and "winter hat" pieces.
the transitions (ideally, dissolves) between these are where they are interesting, to these eyes.
